Lake Monticello is undoubtedly the area's biggest draw. This 1,550-acre body of water is the perfect place to boat, fish, swim, ski, picnic or watch amazing sunsets over the water. Numerous pavilions and boat ramps serve visitors' needs.
 
  
Visit Cut-off Creek and Seven Devils Swamp for some of the best duck hunting in Arkansas. Lots of trophy deer are taken in Drew County each year as well.
   
The Drew County Historical Museum is located in the 19th century Cavaness Home and houses many fascinating artifacts from our region's past. The museum also holds annual candlelight tours hosted by guides in period dress.
  
Monticello is home to a number of annual events such as the Drew County Fair with its rodeo, beauty pageant and crafts. In addition, Rough and Ready Days are held every year at the start of summer. Here you can enjoy a car show, fishing derby, chicken cook-off, 5K run, an auction, pancake breakfast and more.
